The new Rotary year began on a high note on July 7, 2025, setting a positive and energetic tone for the months ahead. The evening was marked by fellowship and celebration, as members came together to recognize the birthdays of Huub Driesen and Gladys Hernandez—wishing them both a wonderful year ahead.

A key highlight of the meeting was President Rubiela’s presentation of the club’s vision and goals for the 2025–2026 Rotary year. Her message laid out a clear and inspiring roadmap focused on creating meaningful impact, strengthening member engagement, and increasing the club’s visibility within the community.

Looking Ahead: Goals for 2025–2026

The club’s priorities for the year reflect a strong commitment to service, collaboration, and growth:

Community Service
Efforts will focus on impactful health initiatives in partnership with local NGOs, addressing areas of need within the community. In addition, the Watercooler Project aims to improve access to clean drinking water by completing installations at local schools.

International Service
The club will continue its dedication to the PolioPlus Fund, with the ambitious goal of becoming a 100% Paul Harris Fellow Club within the next two years.

New Generations Service
Strengthening relationships with Interact and Rotaract clubs remains a priority, with a focus on mentoring and empowering young leaders to carry forward Rotary’s mission.

Member Engagement
Creating meaningful and enjoyable meetings will be key, with an emphasis on fellowship, leadership, and personal growth. Increased member involvement through dynamic activities will further strengthen the club’s sense of community.

Fundraising
Building on the success of signature events such as the Fiesta and Golf Tournament, the club plans to expand outreach and introduce new donor engagement strategies to encourage ongoing support.
