Club meetings and COVID-19 

Dear members and visiting Rotarians,

 

After taking the difficult decision to postpone our Fiesta Rotaria, the Board has discussed whether or not it would be wise continuing with our general meetings as planned. While there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus, the one thing there is consensus on is that preventing further spread of the virus is vital, and that one of the most effective ways to achieve this is by practicing social distancing.

 

In view of the above, the Board has taken the decision to cancel our general meetings for the remainder of the month of March 2020.While the decision to postpone our Fiesta Rotaria and to cancel  our Monday meetings for the remainder of the month March 2020 has not been an easy one, we believe this is the best decision taking the health of our Rotarians and the community of Aruba as our priority.

 

In the meantime, the Board will look into the possibility to change the setup of our meetings for the remainder of the month of March to digital meetings. If and once this possibility is available, we will inform the club with instructions as to how to join our digital meeting.
