The Rotary Club gathered for its fourth meeting of the new Rotary year on July 28, 2025, continuing the momentum with meaningful updates and inspiring conversations.

Among the club initiatives, members will come together to restore the Rotary 4-Way Test roadside sign, ensuring this important symbol is once again visible and well maintained. In addition, the much-anticipated Peace Pole placement has been rescheduled to September 15, when members will take part in this special project in place of the regular weekly meeting.

A highlight of the evening was a presentation by Mary-Ann Falconi, who introduced Impact Hub Aruba—an inspiring collaborative space dedicated to supporting early-stage entrepreneurs. Through mentorship, workspace, and tailored programs, Impact Hub Aruba empowers individuals to build sustainable and socially responsible businesses.

At its core, Impact Hub fosters innovation and connection, bringing together entrepreneurs, creatives, NGOs, and government partners to develop solutions for local and global challenges. Their work is guided by key focus areas including sustainable development, green innovation, social inclusion, and youth empowerment.

Through incubators, accelerators, and partnerships with international networks, Impact Hub Aruba continues to serve as a catalyst for positive change across the island.

The evening concluded with an announcement from President Rubiela, who will be taking a short summer break as she accompanies her eldest child to the Netherlands to begin their studies. During this time, leadership will be guided by Incoming President Henry van den Berg, with meetings resuming on August 18.

As the club pauses briefly for the summer, members look forward to returning refreshed and ready to continue making a meaningful impact in the community.
