The Rotary Club’s third meeting of the new year, held on July 21, brought members together for another engaging evening of updates, connection, and inspiration.

Looking ahead, members can expect the 2025–2026 committee lists to be shared soon, helping to shape the club’s activities and impact for the year. Plans are also already underway for one of the club’s most anticipated events—Fiesta Rotaria—tentatively scheduled for March 29, 2026. In addition, raffle books will be distributed later in the year, supporting ongoing fundraising efforts that fuel Rotary’s community initiatives.

A highlight of the evening was a compelling presentation by Bruce Harms of the Full Stack Vision Foundation, who introduced the impactful work of Code Club Aruba. This free after-school program is helping young people develop valuable digital skills through hands-on projects such as creating games, websites, and animations.

By combining creativity with technology, Code Club Aruba is empowering the next generation with the tools and confidence to thrive in a digital world. The program continues to grow, making a meaningful difference in the lives of Aruba’s youth and contributing to the island’s future.

The evening was a strong reminder of Rotary’s role in supporting education, innovation, and community development. With continued collaboration and engagement, the club looks forward to building on this momentum throughout the year.
