On Sunday, March 30, 2025, the Rotary Club of Aruba proudly hosted its signature community event, Fiesta Rotaria 2025, at the parking lot of the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium. Once again, this vibrant gathering brought together people of all ages and backgrounds for a day full of energy, joy, local flavor, and community spirit.
From 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, thousands enjoyed the warm atmosphere, dancing to live music, savoring delicious local dishes, and participating in fun activities for the whole family. The event served not only as a lively celebration of Aruban culture but also as a major fundraiser for important community projects that will benefit the island throughout the coming year.
On Saturday, December 14, 2024, the Rotary Club of Aruba continued its cherished tradition of bringing joy to the community by organizing the annual Christmas lunch for the clients of Sonrisa. Sonrisa provides a nurturing environment for individuals with mental impairment, and this festive event brought together warmth, music, and shared moments of happiness. This heartwarming tradition, which brings festive cheer and togetherness, marked a decade of service, smiles, and unforgettable moments.
The Rotary Club of Aruba proudly hosted the 25th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on November 30, 2024, at The Links at the Divi Resorts. This milestone event brought together 20 enthusiastic teams of four golfers for a day of sport, fellowship, and giving back. Thanks to the generous support of participants and sponsors, the tournament raised over AWG 90,000 in net proceeds to benefit various foundations across Aruba.
On November 22-23, 2024, the Rotary Club of Aruba proudly hosted the much-anticipated return of the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) training for Rotary District 7030. This dynamic event, led by PDG Roger Bose, RLI Director for District 7030, marked a significant milestone in leadership development for Rotarians across the region.
